From an early age, Tanya Womble recognized education as a powerful tool for empowerment and fully embraced its potential. After graduating high school, she joined the U.S. Air Force, where her dedication and perseverance earned an elite position in the Honor Guard, the official ceremonial unit representing the Air Force tasked with upholding high standards through precision drills, national flag honors, and rendering final honors at funerals as well as performing in formal ceremonies. In this capacity, Tanya discovered a passion for mentoring, guiding, and advocating for those around her, something she continued to cultivate throughout her active service.
In 2004, Ms. Womble founded a precursor to Pathways Insight, where she successfully helped hundreds of high school students and their families navigate the complex college admissions process while avoiding crippling financial debt. After relocating to the East Coast, Tanya pursued further education, earning a Master's Degree in Cyber Security from Norfolk University to complement her Master's in Educational Technology, Bachelor's Degrees in U.S. History and Organizational Leadership, and an Associate's Degree in Psychology. Her academic achievements culminated in a ranking position with the U.S. Government.
Throughout her career, Tanya's dedication to supporting students has remained steadfast. As the founder of Pathways INsight, she continues to invest in the future of America by prioritizing the well-being and success of high school students from all backgrounds. By helping them build brighter futures and instilling confidence in the transformative power of education, Tanya Womble remains committed to empowering the next generation.
